The Real World: Brooklyn Season Finale

It's the final days as the girls decide to pull a large prank on the boys. JD gets caught in the middle.

JD starts prepping boxes as Scott starts to pack. The girls start getting more emotional from all the events that happened. Ryan explains that he has to go to an army base for Operation: Iraqi Freedom.

Ryan goes to a bar and talks to some of his former squad mates. He explains that he's going back. He is now part of a platoon that has never been deployed. Ryan hopes that the troops can learn from his experiences. They discuss that trust is an important issue. He shows them his scrapbook and takes a few pictures before leaving.

Devyn, Baya, and Scott decide to live together in the city after moving out of the Brooklyn house. Scott hopes to stick together to support each other. Ryan suggests having a final dinner with everyone together. They all agree on a time and a place. As night falls, Devyn, Scott, and Baya decide to continue to look for houses. Baya calls the house and tells Ryan that they may be late. JD calls; he can't make it because he's bartending. Either way, Ryan, Katelynn, Sarah, and Chet show up. Eventually drunk guys start sitting down on the empty seats. Scott's friends and Scott come in, but without Devyn. She has to go back to the house and change. Scott announces that he found a place that is three grand a month.

Soon trouble emerges when the drunk men won't move from the seats. Scott tries his best to move the guy. Ryan gets up and confronts a guy. There's a huge fight and the housemates get kicked out. Surprisingly the three guys all stuck together and bonded. They laugh about the situation.

As day hits, Katelynn finds another pair of shoes that got the shoe-lace prank. Katelynn is ready to create a prank for the boys. Devyn and Katelynn talk about payback. As night hits, the girls start to whisper about plans. The boys get into the jacuzzi and talk about the girls. While they are inside, the girls start filling packaging boxes with milk. JD sees this and the girls make him the lookout. Katelynn suggests putting doggy treats in the cereal. Sarah puts soap in the milk. Devyn puts soap on Scott's chicken. JD plays innocent and imagines that nothing happened. The girls hustle back to the cards and remind JD which side he should be on.

Ryan suggests getting some cereal and pours the laced cereal in a bowl. He then looks at the milk and makes Chet pour first. The two take bites into the cereal and realize that there is something wrong with the milk. They go to the sink and spit out what was in their mouth.

Chet is upset and Scott suggests throwing a bottle so Ryan tosses the bottle in the girl's direction. Ryan thinks that it's JD. Scott is pissed that his chicken may have been tampered with. JD gets upset because he didn't do it. Chet decides to go and align with the girls to get JD back. The seven decide to pull out all stops and go against JD. JD tries his best (secretly typing) to tell Ryan. He explains that the girls put milk in the boxes. Chet doesn't get it and continues to tell the girls. Ryan decides to tip the box and finds punctures in the box. The girls giggle. Chet doesn't trust JD.

Chet points out the milk in the box to the girls. JD walks in tries his best to tell Chet. Devyn explains that she wouldn't do pranks. Somehow the seven turn on JD. JD's eyes glaze over from tears and Chet starts to believe him. They shake hands in forgiveness. He then explains to Scott how the events happened. Chet gets upset about his damaged clothes. Scott tells JD that he's sorry.

Ryan finally confronts Sarah. The boys tell her that she has no integrity for picking on JD. As morning hits the girls talk about the boys. The guys called them fake liars. Ryan is still upset and tells the girls that he's trying to get into a different mental state. Baya suggests that Ryan must be scared. Baya was upset that the divide happened.

Scott, Ryan, and Chet talk about the girls' perceptions and how Baya suggested that he was afraid of going back to the army. This upsets Ryan and he screams at the girls. Baya tries to connect the two between the food prank and Iraq/lack of food. She apologizes for her interpretation. Chet gets up and reprimands the girls for placing all the blame on JD. Baya creates an interpretation that JD played the fence and that wasn't a good thing. JD screams at the girls that he didn't pick a side at all. Ryan has to walk out upset.

The last day begins and everyone starts to pack. Ryan makes his last confessional and he's gotten used to everyone. Katelynn and Sarah hug in bed. Boxes start slowly moving out of rooms. Katelynn admits that she will spend more time doing makeup. Chet plays the guitar and sings the tampon song again with the boys. Ryan picks up the guitar and sings the correct words. Baya and Sarah revel in the music in the kitchen and sing along.

The castmates make their last confessionals. Ryan scares Sarah in her confessional. Scott's father shows up dressed up as Orville Redenbacher. He takes a picture of the housemates. Devyn calls Scott helpless. Scott wants to make sure that they all stay friends. They pack his boxes and leave.

JD is next to go. Chet learned how to have fun and speak his mind from JD. JD sees the other guys as true friends. Devyn starts to get emotional when her driver arrives. Tears flow as she hugs all the girls. Katelynn found a true friend with Devyn. She hugs the guys and goes on her way.

Another taxi man comes in for Sarah. Katelynn found a shoulder to cry on, an advisor, and a friend. She's in tears from the rollercoaster ride that she was on. Chet and Ryan get on their way. Katelynn and Baya hug Ryan. Baya is worried about Ryan, but is happy. The two hop in the car and head to the water taxi. The two talk about how supportive each one has been.

Baya is called next and she hugs Katelynn. She's excited to live in New York, but she won't have Sarah and Katelynn there. Katelynn makes a final confessional and feels blessed to be there. Chet hugs Ryan and the two joke around about being in a relationship. Chet just hopes that he's okay with everything. In the same time, Katelynn heads out of the house. Ryan hopes to remember the fun times and the serious times when he had one-on-ones and learned about others.
