A Recorded Score is the Settlement for this Year's Radio City Show

A dispute between radio City Entertainment and the orchestra's union leaves this year's Christmas show a note short.

The old saying "the show must go on" has now become literal for Radio City Music Hall in regards to their infamous Christmas Show. A labor dispute between Radio City Entertainment and the American Federation of Musicians Local 802 has put a new spin on "Silent Night." With 225 scheduled shows before January 2, 2006, Radio City Music Hall is still performing the show with the popular Rockettes, just this year to recorded music. In its 73rd year of holiday entertainment, ticket sales are still going strong, with ticket prices ranging from $40-325. Old favorites as well as new touches, including a new song "I See Christmas Everywhere," are set to still go on at Radio City. Of course, Christmas will be a little quieter this year; though the perfect legs of the alluringly dressed Rockettes will still go on kicking.
