Redmond O'Neal Arrested At An LA Jail
The son of Ryan O'Neal and Farrah Fawcett was arrested on drug charges Sunday.
According to the San Jose Mercury News, Redmond O'Neal, 24, was arrested Sunday in Los Angeles on charges he brought drugs into a jail.
O'Neal is the son of actors Ryan O'Neal and Farrah Fawcett. O'Neal was arrested along with his father in September on charges the pair were carrying methamphetamines. Redmond was on probation at the time for a previous conviction on drug charges.
According to Sherrif's spokesman, Steve Whitmore, a deputy detained O'Neal after the deputy suspected he had narcotics. O'Neal was giving a ride to a friend at the facility. O'Neal is now being held in lieu of $25,000 bail.
O'Neal's lawyer didn't respond to phone messages. The incident was first reported by RadarOnline.com.
