The troubled son of the late Farrah Fawcett and Ryan O'Neal has once again been ordered back to jail

The son of Farrah Fawcett and Ryan O’Neal, Remond, who has had a troubled past with drugs, has been sent back to jail.

Redmond, 26, was sent back to jail for violating the terms of his probation when he arranged for methamphetamines to be delivered to the rehab facility, MSNBC reports.

He was denied bail, and the judge in his case has ordered him back to jail on October 7 for sentencing, with the possibility that he could spend up to six years behind bars.

Redmond’s lawyers, Richard Pintal and Michael Brewer, told E! Online in a joint statement, “The judge indicated he does not know what sentence he will hand down on Oct. 7, Redmond's next court date. The judge has power to sentence him to state prison. But the judge did ask for more information on current security at the facility and about Mr. O'Neal's treatment. He may allow Mr. O'Neal an additional opportunity at treatment. We have hope."

Redmond was originally sentenced to five years probation following an August 2 arrest.
