Redmond O'Neal Violates Probation
A judge ruled the son of Ryan O'Neal in violation of his probation.
According to People, Redmond O'Neal, 24, son of actors Ryan O'Neal and Farrah Fawcett, has been ruled in violation of his probation. A judge in Los Angeles stated Friday that O'Neal has violated his probation, and could be sentenced to a maximum of three years in a state prison.
District attorney spokeswoman Jane Robison said, "Mr. O'Neal was recently discharged from a residential treatment facility after testing positive for meth and because traces of heroin were found in his room, because of that, the judge terminated his 'Prop. 36 program,' which allows drug offenders a chance to receive treatment instead of time behind bars."
O'Neal was arrested last weekend for allegedly carrying heroin into a the parking lot of a jail.
