The book will reflect on his long career and will include stories about various celebrities.

Regis Philbin, the long-time television host of such shows as Live! With Regis and Kelly and Who Wants to Be a Millionaire?, will publish a memoir this fall, It Books announced Monday.

According to CBS News, Philbin's memoir will reflect on his decades-long career and will include stories about Live! co-hosts Kelly Ripa and Kathie Lee Gifford. It will also feature anecdotes about various celebrities, most notably Jack Nicholson, George Clooney, and Jerry Seinfeld.

In a statement released by publisher It Books (a division of HarperCollins), Philbin described the still-untitled book as a "valedictory" and a "personal thank-you" to his fans.

Philbin, 79, announced back in January that this season will be his last as the host of Live!. He has been the show's leading man for the last 28 years.
