Revenge is a Funny Thing--Literally

Jimmy Kimmel responds to Sarah Silverman-Matt Damon video using Ben Affleck.

Late last month, according to MTV.com, a little video aired on Jimmy Kimmel Live! called "I'm F-ing Matt Damon." It featured an acoustic duet between Kimmel's girlfriend Sarah Silverman and Damon himself, singing about their supposed affair.

On Sunday, Kimmel got his revenge by airing a video response called "I'm F-ing Ben Affleck." The "Ben Affleck" video tops Silverman and Damon's duet by using a gospel choir, several celebrities, and musicians to sing the chorus. Cameron Diaz, Harrison Ford and Brad Pitt are just a few of the celebrities seen in the video.

Jill Leiderman, executive producer for Jimmy Kimmel Live!, said, "Jimmy enjoyed every second, every morsel of [Silverman's video], but immediately began plotting his revenge-from the moment that Sarah and Matt's video played on our anniversary show." The next day, Kimmel told Leiderman, "I need to get Ben Affleck."

Through work on Leiderman's part, Affleck soon agreed to do the music video. The musicians in the video, including Josh Groban and Fall Out Boy's Pete Wentz, were chosen from the show's past guests and narrowed down to those who had shown themselves to be comically-inclined or were affiliated in some way with Kimmel, Affleck, Silverman or Damon.
