Richie to Be Mrs. Joel Madden?

Nicole Richie and beau Joel Madden of the band Good Charlotte are to be married, it seems. According to unofficial reports, the celebrity couple is to tie the knot. Richie is already five months pregnant with Madden's baby, as she finally announced officially a few weeks ago. So don't be surprised if this announcement is kept languishing for some time.
But Madden did reveal on "Good Morning with Regis and Kelly" that the rumors are true, reports Elle. Other hints have been dropping all weekend, reports People magazine. A radio DJ in Arlington, Virginia, gave his congratulations to Good Charlotte's lead singer as he left the stage after a performance. According to the magazine, the DJ called out "He got engaged yesterday. Congratulations, Joel!"
The star couple have dated since late 2006. Previously, Richie was linked to DJ Adam Goldstein, while Madden and actress/singer Hilary Duff were a couple for two and a half years. Richie was recently sentenced to four days in jail for a December 2006 DUI. She must complete her time before the end of September, 2007. Richie also received a fine to pay, three years of probation and a mandate to join a drug and alcohol program.
