Richie Sambora May Dodge DUI Charges
According to TMZ.com, Richie Sambora may be able to evade his DUI charges for the simple fact that he may not have been driving under the influence of alcohol.
Sambora voluntarily submitted to a blood alcohol test after he was arrested in Laguna Beach Tuesday, which may take up to a week to find out the results.
Sources told TMZ that Sambora did not have that much to drink prior to his arrest and his blood alcohol level may have been under the California legal limit of .08.
That being said, the Bon Jovi guitarist could still face charges if he is found to have been driving erratically with any level of alcohol in his body.
Sambora was arrested at 10:52 p.m. on the Pacific Coast Highway after Laguna Beach police spotted his car "weaving within lanes," according to the New York Daily News.
If Sambora's tests come out positive, he could also face child endangerment charges for putting his 10-year-old daughter, Ava, and another child who was in the car at risk.
