Rihanna's father is angry by the recent photo leak of what is claimed to be their daughter's battered face after her alleged pre-Grammy altercation with boyfriend Chris Brown.

Rihanna's family is not happy with the recent photo leak of their daughter's battered face. Her dad specifically spoke to People magazine about how disappointed he is with the way the Los Angeles police are handing the case.

The photo, which surfaced Thursday, reportedly shows Rihanna's injuries after an alleged assault by her boyfriend Chris Brown. Ronald Fenty, Rihanna's father, called LAPD work "sloppy" in a telephone conversation from Barbados on Friday.

TMZ originally posted the photo along with a statement from the Los Angeles police. In the statement, the police department explains that, "a violation of this type is considered serious misconduct, with penalties up to and including termination." They then go on to ask for information concerning the unauthorized release of the photograph.

Today, Rihanna turns 21. Her father is not sure how she plans to spend her special day. She has not been seen in public since the alleged attack hours before the Grammy Awards.
