Robert Pattinson agrees with Edward Cullen’s views on love

It seems that Edward Cullen isn’t just a character Robert Pattinson plays. He is very similar to Edward when it comes to love.

Pattinson’s Edward is very protective of his true love, Bella, and would do anything for her. Pattinson says the mindset Edward has when it comes to Bella is how everyone should approach love.

'If you're in love with anyone, I think the majority of people would say, "If I have to die for this person, I will. I mean, you don't really love someone if you're like, ‘No. Just let them die’ Pattinson told Danmark Berlingske TV.

The 25-year-old also agrees with his character’s views on marriage even though they are old-fashioned.

“I guess I must be [old-fashioned] because everyone is always telling me that Edward is kind of old-fashioned, but I always see him as fairly normal ,” he said. “I mean, he just knows what he wants. He’s in love with someone and he just likes the idea of getting married to them. I guess I kind of agree with that.”

Being a romantic like his character isn’t the only thing that makes girls swoon over Pattinson just like they do for his character. Kristen Stewart, who has been dating Pattinson low-key since filming the Twilight films, recently revealed that he also has many other “desirable qualities” of his own.

“He is very intelligent and capable for one thing, has strong will power, an excellent reasoning ability and common sense,” she reportedly said “One of his great qualities is that he has an ability to see his own faults and makes a determined effort to change,” she explained. “He is not stubborn and I guess these are the qualities that any girl would want to see in her partner.”
