Robert Pattinson Drops Out of Film

Heartthrob leaves flick to work on "Twilight" sequel.

Being a vampire really has control of your life. Just ask Robert Pattinson.

The brooding British actor has dropped out of the film, Parts Per Billion, in order to fully commit himself to playing vampire Edward Cullen in the Twilight sequel, New Moon E! reports.

Pattinson's agent, Nicholas Frenkel, said, "Unfortunately, the prep time and production schedule on 'New Moon' haven't left enough time for Robert to work on 'Parts Per Billion' in the first quarter of this year."

It's too bad because it looked like it was starting to be a great film. The independent feature is being produced by actress Rosario Dawson, who will also star. Olivia Thirlby is in it as well, and was supposed to share some steamy love scenes with Pattinson, had he stayed in the picture.

There is no information as to who will take over the role now that Pattinson has dropped out. For those looking for a fix on the actor before New Moon, his films, Little Ashes and How to Be will be released this year.

Although his fans are probably disappointed he won't be starring in those love scenes now.
