Robert Pattinson recalls his most bizarre fan request

Ever since the Twilight films made their debut in 2008, fans have been swooning over Robert Pattinson.

During their trip to Comic-Con last week to promote Breaking Dawn: Part 1, Pattinson, alongside Kristin Stewart, recalled one crazy “Twihard” request by a fan that happened when the films first came out.

“We were doing the last bit of the shoot [on the first film], and there were these people waiting outside the perimeter of the set…and this one woman handed her baby, who was three months old, to an assistant director to meet us,” he recalled.

“The A.D. didn’t really know what to do with it, so he was thinking ‘I think she wants you to sign her baby,” Pattinson said.

But what the mother wanted from Pattinson was a picture with her baby, but not just any picture, a vampire picture.

“I didn’t really understand the reality of the situation,” he said. “So there is a picture on the internet somewhere of me biting this baby.”

“You bit the baby?” Stewart asked. “That’s so weird.”

But Pattinson says, “I didn’t actually touch it,” adding “the baby was so young the entire head fit in my mouth.”

“I’m sure that’s not true,” Stewart quipped.
