Robert Pattinson Shoots New Film in NYC

The "Twilight" star was seen acting in a scene for a new movie.

Entertainment Weekly reports that a new movie, tentatively titled "Remember Me," was filming in New York City on Monday. A crowd of about 200 people stood outside of NYU's Silver Center of Arts & Science to spot "Twilight" actor Robert Pattinson acting in a scene.

During the scene, Pattinson smoked a cigarette while walking with a friend. He wore a plaid shirt and sunglasses and a co-star was yelling at him as he walked away.

Many members of the crowd chased Pattinson while he moved on to the next location during a lunch break.

Pattinson had worked on the movie during the weekend before returning to the set Monday morning, according to Gossipcenter.com.

According to Radar Online, Pattinson stars in the new drama as Tylar Roth, who is balancing a relationship with family tragedies. Pierce Brosnan and Chris Cooper are also acting in the film. Emilie de Ravin, from the show "Lost," plays Pattinson's love interest.
