Roberts' New Films

Julia Roberts is back on the silver screen and is coming at it from every angle.

Well, we haven't seen too much of Julia Roberts in 2004 and 2005 due to her maternity leave, but she is back on the big screen and taking it by storm.

Roberts just signed to Fox's new film, Happiness Sold Separately, that portrays Lolly Winston's novel about an unhappy marriage.

In the film, Roberts plays a suburban housewife who was unable to bear a child, then finds her husband having an affair with his personal trainer.

Roberts has also used her voice recently for a few roles such as, The Ant Bully, that comes out in the summer, and the more recent film, Charlottes's Web, in theaters Friday.

She also recently made her debut on the broadway stage in April in the play, Three Days of Rain.

She is now filming with Tom Hanks and Philip Seymour Hoffman in Charlie Wilson's War, and is also scheduled to appear in the creator of Nip/Tuck, Ryan Murphy's film, Eat, Pray, Love.

Roberts has been known to be the highest paid female star, but lost that title, when she was on maternity leave, to Nicole Kidman. But she is back to reclaim her title, and after all the work she has been doing, it would seem only fair to give back what was taken from her.
