Robin Williams Continues Comedy Tour
Robin Williams resumes his "Self Destruction" tour.
The tour resumes on September 30 in the Bloomington, Indiana University Auditorium, and ends on November 28 in the Atlantic City, New Jersey Borgata Hotel and Casino.
The tour goes through theaters, casinos, and concert halls through a two month, 25-city trek.According to LiveDaily.com, Williams started the tour in September 2008, but changed the dates because he experienced shortness of breath in Florida in early March and postponed the remainder of his 80-city tour to undergo heart surgery. Williams received an aortic valve placement, with a cow's heart as the replacement. He postponed it for nearly two months.
Williams said on his Web site, "This little break has given me more energy than ever. Plus it's wonderful to have a cow valve . . . if you don't mind the grazing, it's quite invigorating."
Williams won many awards for his acting, and comedic work. He won an Academy Award for The Dead Poets Society and The Fisher King. He has been in many successful movies such as Mrs. Doubtfire and Good Will Hunting.
