Rock Star: Supernova Final Elimination Recap

Right off the bat, I can tell Toby looks the most nervous. Brooke tells us who the bottom two are: Magni and Toby. Critiquing the performances doesn't really make sense at this point, so I'll just say what each person sings. Magni sings "Fire" by Jimi Hendrix to save himself. Toby sings "White Wedding" by Billy Idol. Why did they choose songs they have already done? I'm sure Supernova (from here on out, they will be referred to as TBD since they lost the lawsuit to keep that name) already knows who they want, but shouldn't they try to show them something new? Gilby tells Magni he is the next to go because he doesn't seem like someone who can lead the band; he's more of a guy who's in the band.

Now we get a clip show of the final three. Then each says a little something about why they should be the final one standing followed by another performance each. It's supposed to be each person's favorite performance. Lukas sings "Bittersweet Symphony" by The Verve, Dilana does "Zombie" by The Cranberries and Toby chooses "Somebody Told Me" by The Killers.

We come back from commercial and Toby is eliminated sort of abruptly. Lukas and Dilana actually looked shocked and the crowd boos loudly. I feel bad for him. It was really weird. Toby says nothing but great things about Lukas and Dilana before exiting the stage. And then there were two. Dave says, "It's down to the edgy ones." He also says it looks like "they're about to perform a goth wedding" and he's right. So TBD pick the winner and I was right all along. I've said this from week one...Lukas Rossi is crowned the winner of Rock Star: TBD! Gilby tells Dilana he will help her write and produce her album if she wants and Dave and Tommy want to play on it. Dilana will also be joining them on tour, as is Storm. I'm sure Toby and Magni will too. The boys then get up onstage and perform two TBD tracks with Lukas leading them.
