A-Rod and Madonna: Just Friends?

Alex Rodriguez and Madonna have traveled together, spent Thanksgiving together, and even been listed as a reason for his and Cynthia Rodriguez's divorce, but, according to A-Rod, they are just friends, reported TMZ.

When asked by People Magazine about his relationship with the pop star, A-Rod denied any romance, saying, "I have a lot of respect for Madonna. She's very committed to making the world a better place. She's had an amazing career, and we're friends - that's it." Despite evidence to the contrary, he also dismissed talk that the two have traveled together.

"I can tell you this, I have never been on a plane with her," he said, claiming most of the stories about the two are false. "I've been to two of her concerts, yet I've read that I went to 20. I've also read that we were buying an apartment together. That is absolutely ridiculous and not true."
