Rocker Rod Stewart signed a two-year residency deal in Las Vegas on Tuesday.
Stewart’s residency concert will take place at the Colosseum at Caesars Palace, Reuters reported. The concert, entitled “Rod Stewart: The Hits,” is set to begin on August 24.
The concert will be designed so that every audience member will be no more than 120 feet from the stage, promoters for AEG Live said. The venue has 4,100 seats.
According to Billboard, Stewart said that the show would consist of “90 percent songs that people know.” Some of the songs that will be included are “Maggie May,” “The First Cut Is the Deepest” and “You’re in My Heart.”
Tickets for the first 18 concerts of the series will go on sale May 15.
