Roddick Engaged

Tennis star Andy Roddick announced his engagement on his Web site.

It seems that good-looking tennis star and Mandy Moore's ex will soon be off the market. Andy Roddick reportedly proposed to his girlfriend last Tuesday, according to Access Hollywood, and she accepted. Roddick's fiancee is 20-year-old Sports Illustrated swimsuit model, Brooklyn Decker.

An announcement about the engagement was made on Roddick's Web site. It reads, "We are thrilled to announce that Andy and Brooklyn Decker are engaged to be married. Andy proposed in early March. The couple wanted to tell their family and close friends first but good news travels fast. By the time Andy arrived in Miami for the Sony Ericsson Open, the tournament was bustling with the news."

The 25-year-old and his young bride-to-be are not planning on going down the isle anytime soon. His Web site reads, "The couple met in New York City last year and have been dating since. With their hectic travel schedules, Andy and Brooklyn plan to enjoy their engagement and will wait to set a wedding date."

Roddick dated Mandy Moore from 2002 to 2004. According to IMDB, he has the world record for fastest serve with 155 MPH. He is currently ranked 6th in ATP rankings and has a grand slam title from the 2003 U.S. Open.
