Romance, Recovery, and Friendship in Hollywood: Where the facts are blurred

12,775 women. Unlikely connections fueled by drug addiction. Prostitution scandals. These are but a few of the entanglements America's most popular have been finding themselves in lately.

Peter Biskind recently claimed in his new book Star: How Warren Beatty Seduced America, that 72-year-old actor, producer, screenwriter and director Warren Beatty had sex with 12,775 women.

That's about a woman every other day since the day he was born. I know some fellas who have to wait until their teen years to get just one. Yes, old Beatty the Beast is being nominated for the P.I.M.P award of the century by yours truly. In time, he'll receive a factory of condoms in his name.

Unlikely pal Elton John has continued to help Eminem's recovery from a drug addiction that ranges from painkillers to sleep meds. Elton John told MTV, "I've been helping Eminem over the last 18 months and he's doing brilliantly."

Eminem's career has been put on pause as he suffers from his addictions, but it is unclear if his once raging fire is still burning with fuels of hatred and passion, or merely aglow at the end of the man's often reported roller coaster life.

Soon to be New Jersey Nets owner Mikhail Prokhorov, Russia's richest man, has had the rare fortune of Vladimir Putin's backing in a three-year-old prostitution scandal. Putin recently cleared Prokhorov's name in the scandal, with the sweet reward of being invited to stay at Pokhorov's mansion in celebration with a hundred other people. I would be surprised at anything less after witnessing Putin in a Barbara Walters interview stating, "What happens at Prokhorov's, stays at Prokhorov's".
