Ronson vs. Perez

Lindsay Lohan just can't seem to escape the tabloids, even when she is out of town in rehab. Pal Samantha Ronson filed a lawsuit in July against celebrity buzz blogger Perez Hilton. Ronson claims that rumors of her planting cocaine in Lohan's car, the night of her first DUI, were spread by Hilton. Hilton has now filed an affidavit against this claim, denying what Ronson said.

Ronson was present in the car with Lohan when the actress was pulled over and statements made suggest that the cocaine found was actually Ronson's. She accused Hilton's blog, perezhilton.com, of re-posting a story that claimed she accepted money from paparazzi in exchange for tipping them off to Lohan's location. Perez Hilton stated that the inclusion of his website in the July suit is "without merit and publicity seeking."

A hearing is scheduled for Wednesday.
