Ronson's Family Hopes the Split Is Permanent

According to People, the family of DJ Samantha Ronson hopes her relationship with singer and actress Lindsay Lohan is over permanently.

A mutual friend of the pair told People magazine, "Sam's family has made her swear that it's really over. They are giving her all the support they can to keep her away from Lindsay."

A friend of Ronson's said, "Lindsay is going to try and twist the situation in her favor, but Sam clearly left her, not the other way around."

Lohan wrote on her Twitter page, accusing Ronson of both drug abuse and infidelity. One entry read, "You broke my heart. Now go away. I loved you."

According to a friend, Ronson has gone as far as to change the locks on her house over the weekend. The friend said, "Sam changed the locks on her house. Lindsay moved her stuff out as much as she could. She's basically totally out of the house as far as her stuff and she's not living there anymore."

This past weekend, Lohan tried to gain access to a party commemorating the release of Charlotte Ronson's clothing line. Lohan could not get into the Bar Marmont in West Hollywood, where Samantha Ronson was deejaying. A source stated, "Lindsay was banned from the event and was trying to enter from all ends. Sam did not want her there."
