Rosie O'Donnell Has a New Talk Show

O'Donnell will get a new show on Sirius XM.

Rosie O'Donnell is getting another talk show. This time around, though, it's on satellite radio.

Beginning this fall, O'Donnell will host a two-hour daily show (from 10 a.m. to noon) called "Rosie Radio" on Sirius XM, the Daily News reports.

The show is being promoted as a "lifestyle show" designed to blend "humor, pop culture and serious conversation" She will also have celebrity guests and take listeners' phone calls.

According to People magazine, O'Donnell says the deal came through after she visited Howard Stern's Sirius XM show earlier this year. She said yes after Sirius said the show could be done from her home.

The recording facility is currently under construction inside the guesthouse on O'Donnell's New York property that she shares with partner Kelli Carpenter and their four children.

The Sirius talk show will mark O'Donnell's first return to the airwaves since her failed variety show last November and her exit from "The View" two years ago, E! Online reports.
