Rosie O'Donnell Hints at Marriage Troubles.

Amid rumors, O'Donnell speaks in an interview about a possible split between her and Carpenter.

In her latest interview, Rosie O'Donnell continues to indicate that her relationship with Kelli Carpenter is on the rocks.

USA TODAY's Ann Oldenburg spoke with O'Donnell about rumors, beginning with a National Enquirer article, that the two had split. While O'Donnell did not outright admit to a separation, she also did not deny any truth behind the gossip.

"We're a family," she told USA TODAY. "We will remain a family forever. And we are working on our issues."

The two married in 2004 and have since been raising four children together. Parker, 14, Chelsea, 12, and Blake, 9, were adopted. Carpenter carried their fourth child, 6-year-old Vivienne. O'Donnell made it clear that the number one focus of her and her spouse at this time is their children.

"They adorable and wonderful and they are by far a priority," she said.

Beyond these few statements, O'Donnell did not wish to elaborate on her possible problems.

"Kelli and I love each other very much and we are working on our issues. Those are the only words I am ever going to say. Ever. And that is something that has been agreed upon by all parties." Continuing with tears in her eyes, Rosie assured, "But everything is fine and everybody's good and we're still both raising them together. We will continue to parent them and we're friendly and everything's all right."

Carpenter was not present for comment and Rosie would neither confirm nor deny if her spouse had moved out of their Nyack home.
