Rowling Writes First Post-Harry Book

J.K. Rowling has written her first post-Potter book.

J.K. Rowling has penned her first book after her little series, you may have heard of it, it's about a wizard boy and his two friends. Ring any bells? Don't get too excited though this book of magical stories is not going to be ordered by the truckload to your nearest bookstore. According to USA Today, she is only printing seven copies, and when I say printing, I mean hand writing and self illustrating. The Times says, the books will be "bound in brown morocco leather and mounted with silver and semi-precious stones." One of the books will be auctioned off for the charity The Children's Voice on December 13 and the other six will be given to her friends. So, unless you run in the same social circle as Rowling, or are ridiculously rich, there is no chance of getting a copy. The book is the gift that Dumbledore left Hermione after his death, "The Tales of Beedle the Bard." "I was literally writing out - as these are handwritten books - these new stories which has been a wonderful way to say goodbye. It's like coming up from a deep dive," Rowling said. The book is expected to bring in more than $100,000 at the auction.
