Rush Limbaugh Wants to Buy St. Louis Rams

The conservative talk show host is interested in becoming an NFL team owner.

The Los Angeles Times reports conservative radio talk show host Rush Limbaugh has joined a group trying to buy the St. Louis Rams. Limbaugh is teaming up with St. Louis Blues owner Dave Checketts in this latest endeavor. A spokesman for Limbaugh released this information in a statement today.

According to the Seattle Post Intelligencer, the group trying to by the Rams intends on keeping the team in St. Louis. Reuters states that the Rams are valued at $913 million according to Forbes magazine, ranking it 25th out of 32 NFL teams. The Rams organization has never made any sort of statement indicating that the team is for sale, though considering the economic climate and the fact that the team is currently 0-4, p'erhaps it's not a shock that thered be some within the organization who'd want to sell the team.
