Ryan O'Neal Didn't Know He Was Hitting On His Daughter

Ryan O'Neal admits in Vanity Fair's September issue that he accidentally hit on his daughter, Tatum O'Neal, at Farrah Fawcett's funeral.

"I had just put the casket in the hearse and was watching it drive away, when a beautiful blonde woman comes up and embraces me," said O'Neal. "I said to her, 'You have a drink on you? You have a car?' She said, 'Daddy, it's me Tatum!' I was just trying to be funny with a strange Swedish woman, and it's my daughter. It's so sick," he said.

The Associated Content reported in its headline "O'Neal hits on Tatum at Farrah Funeral." The headline is misleading and not true. O'Neal was not aware at the time that the beautiful blonde was his daughter. Tatum brushed off the accusations saying, "That's our relationship in a nutshell," said Tatum. "You make of it what you will."
