Ryan Reynolds, Scarlett Johansson Plan to Adopt

Actors Ryan Reynolds and Scarlett Johansson have been married for less than a year, but the couple is already thinking about expanding their family. When the time is right to have children, Reynolds says they will be turning to adoption.

"My oldest brother is adopted and I have every intention of adopting at some time. I'm very grateful for having my brother in my life. I couldn't be more pro-adoption. There are plenty of kids in the world that need it," Reynolds told UK's Glamour magazine.

Reynolds grew up with three brothers, and credits them for helping to prepare him for his roles in action movies, such as this summer's "X-Men Origins: Wolverine."

"I learned how to take a punch from a very early age," Reynolds said. "I was routinely pummeled into a fine cottage cheese."

Reynolds and Johansson were married in a small ceremony in September 2008.
