Ryan Seacrest's Alleged Stalker Arrested
Chidi Benjamin Uzomah Jr. was detained at the E! Entertainment Television headquarters in Los Angeles on Friday. The man was allegedly wielding a knife before being stopped by security guards and turned over to police.
Court records show Seacrest obtained a temporary restraining order against Uzomah. Last month, police arrest Uzomah for trying to enter Seacrest's automobile in Orange County. Uzomah pleaded guilty to three misdemeanors assault, battery and possession of a switchblade knife. He was sentenced to 15 days in jail, three years probation and order to stay away from Seacrest.
Ryan Seacrest is the host of the top-rated U.S. television program, "American Idol," on the Fox network. "American Idol" is a reality show competition to find a solo singer. Seacrest also host "E! News" and a radio show recorded in a studio situated at E! in Los Angeles.
