Sabrina, the Teenage Witch, Drops 42 Pounds
Actress Melissa Joan Hart has lost 42 pounds and is now flaunting her new bod on the cover of People magazine. The 33-year-old star admitted that losing the weight was not easy.
"I started working pretty hard in January," Hart said on "Good Morning America" today. "When People magazine said, 'We'll put you on the cover in a bikini because we think you look pretty good,' I all of a sudden went into high gear."
The actress said she read blogs on the internet about her pregnancy weight gain from giving birth to her two sons, Mason, 3, and Braydon, 14 months, according to the Chicago Tribune.
"I still read blogs about me discussing how fat I've become," Hart told People magazine.
The actress is best remembered for her early days on Nickelodeon's "Clarissa Explains It All" and later on TV's "Sabrina, the Teenage Witch."
The actress now weighs 113 pounds and told People, "I realized I don't have to be heavy just because I have kids."
