SAG Award Nominations Announced

Nominees were announced Thursday for the Screen Actors Guild Awards

Brokeback Mountain, received the most SAG award nominations Thursday with four nominations including a best-actor nomination for Heath Ledger. The film depicts the struggle of two young cowboys trying to hide a homosexual relationship.Jake Gyllenhaal, Ledger's love interest, received a supporting-actor nomination and Michelle Williams, who plays Ledger's wife, received a nomination for best supporting-actress.

Other contenders for Screen Actors Guild Awards were "Capote" staring Philip Seymour Hoffman and "Crash." Each was honored with three nominations including best performance by its entire cast.

The awards will be televised on Jan. 29 on TNT and TBS. The SAG awards are determined by other actor's and is made up of five film categories and eight prime time television categories.
