Salma Hayek Gives Birth To Daughter

Salma Hayek and fiance Francois-Henri Pinault welcomed their daughter into the world on Friday. The couple have named their first child together Valentina Paloma Pinault. Valentina is Hayek's first child, while Pinault has two children from a previous relationship. The couple haven't announced when their wedding will be, but they are notoriously private, and likely will have a private or small ceremony. The actress is currently featured in "Across the Universe" in a cameo role, and is filming "South of the Border". Hayek's TV project, the much lauded "Ugly Betty" returns to the screen this fall for its second season. On top of those and other projects in the works, her production company, Ventanazul, has partnered with MGM to produce two to four Latin-themed films a year.
