Salma Hayek Lands on "30 Rock"
Tina Fey reportedly wanted Salma Hayek to appear on her show so much - as an actual character, unlike many of the stars she has had on the critically-hailed show (Jerry Seinfeld in particular) - that she personally called the actress.
Fey asked Hayek, and Hayek accepted. She will now appear on at least two episodes of the Emmy-winning show.
A rep for the star, who has also appeared on Ugly Betty (a show that she produces and had a major role in adapting for American television), declined to comment on the story to the New York Post's Page Six.
Hayek guest starring on the show that already has the strong cast of Fey, Tracy Morgan and Alec Baldwin (along with many other talented, supporting actors) makes her another in the long list of guest stars.
That list includes the aforementioned Seinfeld, Edie Falco, Will Arnett and Jennifer Aniston and Oprah Winfrey in upcoming episodes.
