Salma Hayek Ties the Knot on Valentine's Day

According to People.com, actress Salma Hayek spent her Valentine's Day getting married to her boyfriend, French businessman Francois-Henri Pinault.

The couple was wed in Paris this past weekend, in the City Hall of the Sixth Arrondissement. The Pinault family-owned magazine, Le Point, reported the news of the marriage and Mayor Jean-Pierre Lecoq confirmed the news soon after.

Rumors had been circulating that the couple, who had a daughter together in 2007, had called off their engagement this past July. Their engagement had been announced back in March 2007.

According to friends of the couple who spoke to People, Hayek and Pinault rekindled their relationship during a trip to Paris last September. By a second trip in November, the couple was back together and "very evidently in love with each other, very affectionate in public," according to a source.

Pinault is the son of one of France's richest men. His father, Francois, is estimated to have a fortune of over $16 billion. Pinault is also the CEO of PPR.
