Samantha Ronson Back on Lindsay Lohan’s Side

Lindsay Lohan’s ex, deejay Samantha Ronson, needed distance from the actress when the two split up.

Since Lohan’s troubles and recent sentencing, though, Ronson has not only been spending time with her again, but also defending her against critics.

The two have been seen eating together, and Ronson has visited Lohan in the sober-living center where she is staying, according to People.

Ronson also tweeted in support of Lohan. She defended the actress in response to tweets by Joan Rivers, who called Lohan “dumb” and a “party skank.”

A source told People magazine that Ronson never stopped caring about Lohan and wants to see her get better and head in a better direction with her life.

Lohan will be kept in a solitary cell at Lynwood jail when she reports for her sentence next week, and she will have limited contact with the other inmates.

She will not, however, be given any special treatment during her confinement.
