Samantha Ronson Faces Questioning after Deadly Dog Attack

DJ Samantha Ronson's Dog Cadillac is being investigated after fatal attack

Samantha Ronson, who is best known as a disc-jockey and the ex-girlfriend of Lindsay Lohan, is facing a criminal investigation for her dog’s deadly attack on another dog, EOnline.com reports.

The Los Angeles Department of Animal Care is investigating allegations against Ronson’s pit-bull, Cadillac, and gathering evidence before presenting the case. An attack like the one Ronson’s dog was involved in sometimes results in felony charges, but does not usually result in jail time.

The court decides, though, if an owner will lose the rights to the animal, the dog be euthanized, or if there are restrictions against the dog. Most sentences range from not allowing the owner to own other dogs in the county of Los Angeles to putting the dog down, or even paying fines.

The dog is still being investigated to find if it has been involved in other attacks in the past. This investigation is ongoing and will take up to three months.

Cadillac is allowed to stay with Ronson for the time being since he didn’t attack a person.
