Sandra Bullock Involved in Car Accident

Sandra Bullock's vehicle was hit by a drunk driver Friday.

According to Access Hollywood, Sandra Bullock and husband, Jesse James, were involved in a car accident Friday evening in Gloucester, Mass.

Bullock and James were passengers in the back of a black sports utility vehicle when their car was struck by a drunk driver around 9:50 p.m. Their driver was going approximately 15 mph and there were no injuries.

Lucille Gatchell was operating the vehicle which hit the car Bullock and James were in. Allegedly, a witness was about to dial 911 to report Gatchell's reckless driving moments before she hit the black SUV head on.

Authorities smelled a strong odor of alcohol upon confronting Gatchell and reported that she was unsteady on her feet. When given a breathalyzer, Gatchell tested two and a half times the legal limit. She was arrested shortly after, released and is due in court on Tuesday.

Bullock was in Gloucester shooting for the upcoming film, The Proposal, with Ryan Reynolds.
