Sandra Bullock Visits a Friend

After weeks of laying low from the media after her husband's four alleged affairs became public, Sandra Bullock finally stepped out to visit a friend in Los Angeles.

Bullock was seen going to visit her close friend, Gabriel Brener, who is the head of the private investment firm, Brener International Group, LLC. Bullock and Brener have been good friends for a while, and Brener and his family even attended Bullock and James' wedding in 2005. The two families have also vacationed together in the past.

According to People, a friend reports: "She's not there on business. They've been friends for decades."

After moving out of the house she shared with James, this is the first time Bullock has been seen out in public. While Bullock confides in her friends, James is seeking treatment in Arizona for his personal issues. James hopes to make the marriage work, and will spend a great deal of time working on his problems in rehab.

After the affairs were made public, Bullock canceled her movie premieres for The Blind Side in Europe, and refrained from going out. She has yet to comment on the scandal, as well as her current marital situation. Bullock won the Academy Award for Best Actress for her work in The Blind Side, yet did not appear at any events post-win as a result of her husband's infidelities surfacing.
