Sandra Bullock's Husband Seeks Forgiveness

Sandra Bullock's husband of five years, Jesse James, has started speaking out about his extramarital affair with model Michelle "Bombshell" McGee.

When Bullock missed a London premiere earlier this week to promote her movie, The Blind Side, rumors about her husband's affair surfaced.

According to The Los Angeles Times, Bullock released the statement:

"Due to unforeseen personal reasons a trip abroad to support "The Blind Side" has been deemed impossible at this time. I apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused and thank you for your continued support of the film."

James, West Coast Choppers CEO, took responsibility for his actions yet refrained from admitting the affair. McGee, however, revealed their affair and mentioned that she still had steamy text messages from James. Some of the text messages were from a couple of days after Bullock won the Academy Award for Best Actress.

The reality TV star said that he was saddened by the pain and embarrassment he caused his wife and children, and hoped that they would someday forgive him. James and McGee had a year-long affair while Bullock was filming The Blind Side in Atlanta.

After being seen together at several red carpet events and appearing very much in love, Bullock has reportedly moved out of the home that she and James shared.
