Sarah Jessica Parker and Matthew Broderick are Expecting Twins

Proving recent rumors about the couples status wrong, Sarah Jessica Parker and husband Matthew Broderick are expecting twin daughters through a surrogate pregnancy. Their publicist announced in a statement that the couple is "happily anticipating" the arrival of their twin daughters in late June and that "the entire family is overjoyed."

Parker, 44, and Broderick, 47, already have an 11-year-old son.

A source said that the couple has been trying to expand their family for some time. A surrogate was an "alternative" presented to them.

"They could have kept trying on their own, but they've always wanted to have more children and felt this was the best way to go," the source adds.

Parker will reportedly take some time off after their arrival.
