Sarah Michelle Gellar Tackles Alice in Wonderland
The famous actress will play the young and disturbed Alice
Now that Sarah Michelle Gellar's Buffy days are long gone, she is taking on a new persona that so many kids have grown up watching. The actress has signed to star in Alice for Universal Pictures, which is based on the Electronic Arts video game American McGee's Alice, which is based on Lewis Carroll's Alice in Wonderland. Directed by Marcus Nispel, the film will feature Gellar as a young, disturbed Alice, who, after her parents are killed, returns to Wonderland to confront the wicked Queen of Hearts. On her long and twisted journey there, she runs into mysterious potions, talking animals, and nonsensical tea parties, all without which Wonderland would be weird.
