Sarah Palin Completes Book Tour
Last stop: Alaska.
Sarah Palin returned to her home state on Sunday to end her national Going Rogue book tour. The final signings were held at two Air Force bases in Alaska, events that were closed to the public. She hit Elmendorf Air Force Base in Anchorage first, then went on to Eielson Air Force Base near Fairbanks.
Palin resigned as governor of Alaska in July, a full 17 months before the end of her first term. Her book was released in November and has sold more than 1 million copies. She recently appeared on The Tonight Show with Conan O'Brien to surprise William Shatner after he mockingly read excerpts from the memoir.
