Sarah Palin: Hollywood's New "It Girl"?
She may have lost the chance to be in the White House, but Sarah Palin can maybe call Hollywood home instead.
The Alaskan governor is being offered everything from talk shows to becoming a TV pundit and writing a book, as reported by Page Six in the New York Post.
"There are several of our imprints who are eager to talk to Gov. Palin," Random House spokesman Stuart Applebaum told the column. "She clearly has a constituency and we know books by conservatively centered politicos usually sell very, very well."
While the idea of Palin writing a book sounds good because of how much publicity she produced during the election, some people aren't so interested in what she has to say or write.
Linda Mann, the president of Mann Media, a company that books celebrities for TV, said to Page Six, "Her buzz is incredible. She has car-wreck appeal. You're compelled to watch, hoping she'll say the dumbest things possible. I'd propose a show combining her love of fashion and lack of brainpower-'Project Dumbway.'"
Whether she goes for books or chat shows, Palin is already a little bit "Hollywood," thanks to her $150,000 wardrobe.
