Sarah Palin Pitches TV Show

The former governor and VP candidate attempts to get her own show.

Sarah Palin is coming to the small screen!

The former Alaska governor and Republican Vice Presidential candidate has reportedly been attending meeting to discuss producing a TV docudrama about her home state, says Entertainment Weekly.

Palin will work on the show with Mark Burnett, producer of Survivor, The Apprentice and many other hit reality shows. One source says the show would be a “planet-Earth type look” focusing on the natural beauty of the cool-weathered state.

Burnett said, "What it's not is a reality show following her around, getting up in the morning or her family and all the salacious stuff."

Palin will visit commercial fishing boats and tour either coal or gold mines and other spots unique to her state.

"It's being in and experiencing the great charm and beauty of Alaska with Sarah Palin," Burnett added.

Entertainment Weekly reports that Palin and Burnett have already met with representatives from Fox, CBS, and ABC with plan to pitch the show to NBC on Thursday.

One executive joked that she would will be “pitching a sequel to Commander in Chief”, as a reference to the ABC series starring Geena Davis as the first female President.
