Scarlett Johansson and Ryan Reynolds Tie the Knot in a Secret Wedding

The couple went away from the bright lights of NYC and L.A. to Vancouver, Canada.

Scarlett Johansson, 27, and Ryan Reynolds, 31, made it official this weekend with a quiet ceremony in the outskirts of Vancouver, the groom's hometown.

People was the first to report the news. Reynolds's reps told E! News, "Yes, I can confirm they are married."

Various sources said that the two wed in a remote wilderness resort, with only their closest friends and family present.

Johansson and Reynolds have been dating for about a year and a half, after his split from singer Alanis Morissette. They announced their engagement four months ago.

Scarlett Johansson's hits include her breakout role alongside Bill Murray in Lost in Translation, and also her recent film, Woody Allen's Vicky Cristina Barcelona. Ryan Reynolds is famous for his role in National Lampoon's Van Wilder, and his future projects, like X-Men Origins: Wolverine, are sure to be a hit.
