Scarlett Johansson steps out in New York with mystery man

Actress Scarlett Johansson was spotted walking around New York City this past weekend with a mysterious man who might be a new boyfriend, but nothing has been confirmed.

According to E! News, the 27-year-old Avengers star was seen with her arm around an older man wearing a hooded sweatshirt and sunglasses.

Radar Online reports that the man is an advertising executive whose name is Nate and works in New York. In another picture, the two are holding hands and Nate, whose last name has yet to be reported, is seen wearing a black jacket and no sunglasses.

"They're keeping it very, very low key. He's not one for the limelight and fame and she likes that about him," a source told Radar Online.

Johansson was married to Ryan Reynolds for two years, until their divorce in 2010. Since then, Johansson was linked to the much-older Sean Penn last fall. According to The Daily Mail, Penn and Johansson were together for five months until he called it off. Reynolds is now reportedly seeing Gossip Girl’s Blake Lively.

In all the photos of Johansson and Nate posted at The Daily Mail, Johansson is seen wearing sunglasses or a hood. “When Scarlett is in New York she keeps a low profile. She wants to give the whole party scene a miss,” a source told the site.

Aside from The Avengers, Johansson, will also appear in Under The Skin, which is scheduled for release some time this year. She is also rumored to be appearing in Iron Man 3, which will hit theaters in May 2013. She last starred in We Bought A Zoo with Matt Damon.

So, if you happen to know any advertising executives named Nate in New York, you might want to ask who he’s going out with.
