Scary Spice Files Suit Against Murphy

Melanie Brown, also known as "Scary Spice," is filing a paternity suit against Eddie Murphy. The two dated last year and a child resulted from the union, three-month-old Angel Iris Murphy Brown. Although Murphy took a paternity test in June, which established that he was the father, he has never publicly acknowledged his paternity. Brown's suit is seeking legal paternity as well as child support, for an undisclosed amount.

Gossip magazines have reported that Murphy is engaged to his girlfriend of ten months, Tracey Edmonds. Murphy's people declined comment on either the paternity or the engagement issue. In happier news, the Spice Girls are going to be shakin' it in platforms and bright colors again, since they announced there will be a reunion tour.
