Washing up on cable with good ratings...

Once again, the Sci-fi channel scores big in December with a miniseries. "Legend Of Earthsea," a story based on two books by Ursula K. Le Guin drew an average rating of 3.68 over its two nights according to zap2it.com. The four-hour miniseries debuted Monday night Dec 13th with a 3.44 rating, which was 2nd only to WWE's "Raw" program on Spike TV. With a string of less successful miseries like "Five Days To Midnight" and "Farscape: The Peacekeeper Wars," which failed to crack the two million viewer mark, the network is pleased to have something close to their last hit miniseries "Taken," which reached the five million viewer mark.
