Scorsese and DiCaprio to Work Together Again

As if three times wasn't enough, Scorsese and DiCaprio will work together not once, but twice more in the coming year.

Martin Scorsese, one of America's most well known filmmakers, is set to work, not just with Leonardo DiCaprio, but his production company, Appian Way, as well, on the soon to be published autobiography, The Wolf of Wall Street by Jordan Belfort.

Scorsese's production company, Sikelia Productions, will also be involved and the entire project is backed by Warner Bros.

The Wolf of Wall Street is the story of Belfort, a New York stockbroker who, after refusing to turn informant for the FBI, serves 20 months in prison. The book is considered hot property and caused a bit of a bidding war between Warner Bros. and Appian Way against Paramount and Plan B, Brad Pitt's production company.

In addition to Wolf, Scorsese and DiCaprio will also be filming The Rise of Theodore Roosevelt, later this year. Prior to these two films, the two have worked together on three other films: Gangs of New York, The Aviator, and the most recent, The Departed. Both were nominated for Oscars for their respective roles in The Departed, but only Scorsese took home the statuette. The film also won for Best Picture.
